Build a fun mini-game with on-chain features on Oasis Network, and you could win $20,000

We are announcing the launch of our latest Gitcoin Hackathon on Gitcoin for three weeks between 8 and 29 June 2022.

This is an opportunity for all budding developers who are passionate about building the future of Web3 to bring their ideas to life.

The Challenge

This Hackathon challenges developers to create a mini-game with on-chain features, such as NFTs and/or a native token, which is fun and addictive to play. Think Flappy Bird, Temple Runner, Tower Bloxx, or Candy Crush.

A playable version of the game should be launched, or ready to launch, on Oasis Emerald mainnet, within 3 months of the Hackathon.

Additionally, the mini-game must be part of a roadmap for a full version game that immerses the player long-term and can compete with other current blockchain games.

The Prize

One lucky winner will receive $20,000 to help develop and launch the mini-game and full version.
